Question 1

Where is Chloe-Eve Coffee based?

Accepted Answer

We're a mobile coffee trailer based in Bulli, in the northern suburbs of Wollongong. We bring wood roasted specialty coffee to events across the Illawarra.

Question 2

What areas do you service?

Accepted Answer

We service the northern suburbs (Bulli, Woonona, Thirroul, Austinmer, Corrimal, Bellambi and Russell Vale), Wollongong and surrounds (Fairy Meadow, North Wollongong, Gwynneville and Figtree) and the southern Illawarra (Unanderra, Dapto and Shellharbour).

Question 3

Is there a coffee trailer for hire near Woonona, Thirroul or Corrimal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Chloe-Eve Coffee is just down the road in Bulli, so the northern suburbs are our home turf. We cater weddings, parties, school and sporting events, markets and corporate mornings with no travel fee in the Illawarra.

Question 4

Do you travel outside the Illawarra?

Accepted Answer

The Illawarra is our focus. For events further afield we may be able to travel on request, and a travel fee applies. Get in touch with your date and location and we'll let you know.

Question 5

How far in advance should I book a mobile coffee trailer?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for weddings and spring/summer events. Weekend dates fill fast, so the earlier you lock it in, the better. That said, we do sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings, so it's always worth asking!

Question 6

How much does it cost to hire a mobile coffee van for an event?

Accepted Answer

Our packages start from $400. Pricing depends on the duration, number of guests, location, and any add-ons. Every quote is tailored. Contact us for a free, no-obligation quote for your event.

Question 7

How do you price your mobile coffee service?

Accepted Answer

We charge by service hours, not per cup. This means unlimited coffee for your guests during the booked period, with no awkward drink limits. Pricing varies based on duration, guest count, and location.

Question 8

Can I customise my package?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our listed packages are a great starting point, but we're flexible. If your event has unique requirements (different guest counts, specific dates, add-ons, or special circumstances), get in touch and we'll tailor something to suit you.

Question 9

What power does a mobile coffee trailer need?

Accepted Answer

We prefer a 15A power outlet. For events under 100 people, a 10A with a converter works fine. If your venue has no power access (rural properties, outdoor parks, etc.), we can organise generator hire for $250.

Question 10

How long does the coffee trailer take to set up?

Accepted Answer

We typically arrive 45–60 minutes before service begins to set up. Our team works quickly and quietly, and we'll be fully ready to serve when your guests arrive.

Question 11

How much space does the coffee trailer need?

Accepted Answer

Our trailer is compact and fits most spaces. We need approximately 4m x 3m, plus queuing space. We'll work with your venue to find the best spot.

Question 12

Can you operate in wet weather?

Accepted Answer

Our trailer has built-in shelter, so light rain is no problem. For severe weather, we'll work with you to find a covered alternative location or adjust plans as needed.

Question 13

Do you have public liability insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are fully insured with public liability cover and hold a valid food safety certificate. We also hold council registrations for Wollongong and Shellharbour.

Question 14

Do you offer dairy-free and vegan milk options?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We stock oat, almond, soy, and macadamia milks at all events. We also offer decaf options and a wide range of non-coffee drinks including chai latte, hot chocolate, and teas.

Question 15

What cup sizes do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We serve small (8oz, 1 shot) and large (12oz, 2 shots) sizes for all espresso-based drinks.

Question 16

Do you offer decaf coffee?

Accepted Answer

Yes, decaf is always available. Just ask your barista or let us know when booking.

Question 17

Can you customise the drink menu for my event?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Want an iced coffee-only summer menu? A hot drinks-only winter setup? We can tailor the menu to suit your event. Just let us know your preferences when enquiring.

Question 18

Do you offer food catering as well as coffee?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We offer sweet and savoury food catering including gluten-free and vegan options. Check out our Catering page for the full menu and ordering options.

Question 19

Have you done wedding coffee catering before?

Accepted Answer

Yes, weddings are one of our specialties. We've served at countless weddings across the Illawarra and know exactly how to work with your coordinator and timeline. Our trailer also photographs beautifully!

Question 20

Can you provide branded or custom signage for corporate events?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Custom signage, menu boards, and branded cups are available. Custom branding is included in our Premium package and can also be added to other packages.

Question 21

How many guests can you serve at an event?

Accepted Answer

With 2 baristas, we can serve events of up to 1,000 guests efficiently. For very large events (500+ guests), we adjust our staffing and service model. Reach out to discuss your needs.

Question 22

Do you cater to large-scale community or corporate events?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we've serviced events with 3,000+ attendees. For events over 500 people, we sometimes attend at no charge, with guests purchasing their own drinks. Contact us to discuss large-event arrangements.
